Every year Salem State University works with the students and community to make a better holiday season for those who need a little extra help. There are donation boxes all around our SSU campus this season just waiting to be filled.
Up until Friday December 13th, Salem State’s Human Resources and Delta Me Delta Honor Society are hosting the Toys for Tots toy drive. Please look for the donation boxes and think about tossing a toy for some young child.
Monday, December 9th, Salem State groups, clubs, and athletic teams are invited to participate in a competition of who can collect the most toys and or gift cards for all the campus toy drives. Donations can be collected up until the 9th where they should be brought to the Viking Hall café for the cocoa counting party. The winning team will have a pizza party with President Keenan, during spring semester 2020 from PZA.
Wednesday, December 11th from 10am-2pm on Central Campus in front of Viking Hall and 10am-2pm Thursday, December 12th on North Campus in the Alumni Plaza the Salem State University Police Department and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity are hosting a “Stuff-A-Cruiser” toy drive.
Please bring a new, unwrapped toy. You have the opportunity to put a smile on the faces of the children within our community. Anything from stuffed animals, to Legos, to Barbie dolls and Hot Wheels, all toys are welcome and accepted to fill the cruiser. Donations are greatly appreciated, anything helps. The community children and their families thank you and those who are supporting their holiday season, and making them memorable.
